General Guidelines for our Regathering
Our Sunday services have resumed at 10 am. In addition, all services can still be viewed on Facebook and Instagram Live. Our recorded Sunday service can be viewed on our social media (@HCFinTouch) read on our website by Tuesday afternoon. Please see below for more details.
Staying Safe
Because the safety of our members is of our utmost importance. Hand sanitizing stations have been placed throughout the building. We will be limiting access to areas of the building as well designating entry and exit areas only. We are implementing social distance of 6 feet throughout our campus to include our Main Hall. If you are not well or have children that are not well, we ask you to stay home. Our Coffee Bar and snacks before and after service will be temporarily suspended until further notice. Due to respectful distancing we will not be congregating in the courtyard, lobby or other areas before or after service. |
Respectful Distancing
As we gather together again, let’s be graceful with one another and honor an appropriately respectful distance between family groups in order to minimize the potential spread of any viruses. For the time being, we will refrain from physical contact with those outside our families (ie. hugging, handshakes, etc.). We are implementing social distancing throughout our building to include the Main Hall. |
High Risk Groups
If you are in a high risk group that is older or immune-compromised, we ask that you please remain safely at home and watch our recorded Sunday service can be viewed on our social media and the outline can be viewed on our website (www.hcfintouch.com) on Sunday morning. What About Our Kids?
Our Family Room (newborn to 4 years old) is remodeled and reopened. We would like 2-3 families in there at a time. If there are multiple families in there, we ask that one parent and child(ren) are in there so more parents and their babies can join. Our Nursery (newborn to 4 years old) is temporarily suspended until further notice. Children are welcome in our main service. Our HisKids (ages 4 years old - 5th grade), J-Walkers (Middle School) and Next Generation (High School) programs have resumed with our regular Sunday Service. |

As God's people how do we face the Coronavirus (COVID-19) health issue and any other difficulty that occurs in this world? This is not the first and will not be the last of challenges we will face. We face such challenges with Faith, Love and Wisdom. Our trust is in a God who is able to keep us in any situation. We cannot allow fear and worry to rule in our hearts. Our faith is not in a mask or hand sanitizer but in God. Let not your heart be troubled and believe in Him. Let love rule. Love others enough to share and not hoard.
We also love by protecting others. If you have flu-like symptoms, self quarantine and do not expose others. Faith doesn't mean we throw out wisdom. We want to continue to encourage good hygiene practices such as washing hands for a longer period of time than usual. Those who are in the category of the most vulnerable (older adults and people who have serious chronic medical conditions like heart disease, diabetes, and lung disease), please exercise wisdom. Limiting yourself in places of possible exposure is not a lack of faith but wise. We do all the things needed not out of fear but with a strong heart of faith and love.
At church service we will address these issues from the platform. We are also taking steps to make HCF as safe a meeting place as possible.
Once again, if you or anyone in your family is experiencing flu-like symptoms or any other signs of sickness, please refrain from joining us in Services. Instead gather with your family, worship the Lord and join us on Facebook Live around 10:20 AM.
Throughout history, Christianity has grown the most when the times were darkest. Our opportunity is this: people are social beings. We like getting together. For the next few weeks, no one will have major events to attend. So, as long as we are safe and healthy, these next few weeks might be a good time to invest in your Oikos. This could be a strategic time to build or deepen friendships with your neighbors.
Most of the church’s giving is done through physical checks and cash that are placed in offering baskets each Sunday. If you are one who normally gives by check or cash and you would like to give while you are out, please visit our website at www.hcfintouch.com and click on “online giving” to give through our online giving platform.
Let’s use wisdom and not shrink back in fear.
“For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.”
2 Timothy 1:7
